The City of Hot Springs Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with local high school softball coaches, is hosting a free coaching clinic for those volunteering as head and assistant coaches in the City’s youth softball leagues and those interested in becoming volunteer coaches for the leagues.
This clinic will cover how to teach the fundamentals of softball, including skills and drills, and will be taught by local high school softball coaches. It will be held from 5:15 - 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Field 4 at Kimery Park, 217 Kimery Street.
Immediately following the clinic, there will be a mandatory meeting for the City’s youth softball leagues' head coaches at 7 p.m. at Kimery Park.
